Thomas Margiotti

Mr. Margiotti has been an attorney for over 26 years servicing business clients mostly in the areas of Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. He is an experienced Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practitioner and is a court qualified arbitrator and mediator. He recently served as Executive Director for the Montgomery Conflict Mediation Center and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Philadelphia University.

Mr. Margiotti has consulted internationally regarding: International Commercial Arbitration Laws, Court Annexed Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs and Online Dispute Resolution. He is a frequent speaker and an instructor both internationally and domestically having presented in 6 nations and several U.S. states regarding ADR in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality.

Mr. Margiotti serves as an Arbitrator for the Philadelphia and New Jersey Courts and is a New Jersey Court Rule 1:40 qualified mediator. His almost 100 hours mediation training in both the U.S. and Europe includes 40 from the American Arbitration Association and over 22 hours from the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Mr. Margiotti is a member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators, the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators, the Association for International Arbitration and the International Forum of Travel and Tourism Advocates (IFTTA).

Mr. Margiotti served as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia for over 12 years where his assignments included Major Trials and the Homicide Unit. Mr. Margiotti is an experienced litigator with over 100 jury trials and thousands of non-jury trials.

Mr. Margiotti is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association and is admitted into U.S. Federal Court for both the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He received his Juris Doctorate from The Delaware Law School of Widener University and undergraduate degree from Villanova University.
