The founder of the office, Georgia Constantinou-Panayiotou, is a lawyer and:
- a member of the Cyprus Bar Association,
- a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners,
- an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, and
- a licensed Insolvency Practitioner in Cyprus.
Georgia obtained her law degree from the National and Capodistrian University in Athens, with full scholarship. She was awarded a Master of Laws in European Union (Commercial) Law from Leicester University. She has completed with success two accredited courses at the Harvard University, USA (War Crimes, Genocides and Justice, and International Relations).
She has fifteen years experience in trust law, Contract law and drafting, International Commercial law, corporate/company law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and has handled successfully numerous cross-border transaction projects in Europe and CIS, representing high profile international clients.
Georgia serves a variety of clientele, including, UHNWI, listed companies, international service providers, foreign global corporations, as well as local professional firms and merchants. Georgia's areas of interest includes Anti-Money Laundering measures, KYC and compliance matters. She speaks fluent Greek and English, and good French. Georgia is the firm's Compliance Officer.She also served as the legal advisor to the edition "Companies Law, Cap. 113 in Russian" . Georgia is a frequent speaker at seminars on Cyprus corporate law and an instructor of Commercial Law and Trust Law at the European University Cyprus. She is also a member of the Companies Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association.Georgia has received the honorable ACQ5 Global Award 2014 for Cyprus Contract Lawyer of the Year voted by her peers and clients, and the GlobalLaw Expert Award 2014 as Cyprus Corporate Lawyer of the year.
